This poor baby! I blogged every moment of my pregnancy with Charlie and I've hardly mentioned this little one currently hanging out in my uterus. Get ready, #2 -- story of your life! So just a few things about #2:
1. We haven't even gone as far as giving this baby a cute in utero nickname. Charlie was "peanut." We sometimes use the name of whatever vegetable or fruit the fetus has been compared to via babycenter.com weekly email. This week the baby is the size of an heirloom tomato, as if I'm well-schooled in the size of heirloom tomatoes or something.
2. I felt Baby #2 moving around the day I hit 15 weeks. I was working on my laptop and eating a cup of ice, as is my habit this pregnancy, when chaos broke out in my abdomen. I guess Baby didn't appreciate the cold!
3. Andy and Charlie got to feel Baby moving for the first time just a few days ago at 19.3 weeks.
4. We still won't know what we're having until Jan. 25th when I have an ultrasound. I'll be 21 weeks. Everyone, including Charlie, insists that it's a girl. I keep warning that this poor boy's going to have a complex as soon as he's born!
5. The second time around is so different. Nothing's new but things are still exciting and much less stressful.
6. I haven't picked up a single baby book and don't really plan to. I haven't been obsessing over anything this time around (Andy might disagree!) which is much different than last time.
7. I've felt much better this pregnancy than with Charlie, with the exception that I'm more tired now than I was in the first trimester. I don't think I had time to be tired in the first trimester!
8. One of the best things about having a second child is getting to share the experience with Charlie. I'm glad we waited until he was older because it's so fun to see his excitement and answer all of his funny questions. I'll have to save those for another post!
9. I feel guilty that this child won't be born in Texas! :)
10. My cravings with this pregnancy: ice, grapefruit, red meat, and Mexican food (as always).

Just wait until you get to the third! I wish I craved meat when I was pregnant. It's the one thing I have to find tricky ways to fit in :) I can't wait to find out what you're having.
Ice? Well, I guess you can't gain too much that way! :) So glad you're doing well and posted about this little one. Can't wait to find out what you're having!
It is funny how different it is. Can't wait to find out what it is!
I've been craving grapefruit too!!! (first time for that craving and Josie doesn't approve...she tried one of mine and constantly reminds me that she doesn't like grapefruit, "remember the face mom" she says referring to her scrunchy face that she made in response to the tartness!)
I can't wait until Jan 25! I'm with you on the red meat.
Excited to find out tomorrow!
