Since it's been so long I thought it best to include a few pictures:
A few weeks ago we took Charlie to the Charlottesville Book Festival where Miss Rosa from PBS did a little show and signed things. Charlie was PUMPED! He can't stop talking about Miss Rosa. Andy and I occupied ourselves with fabricated tales of Miss Rosa -- Miss Rosa is a diva and wants only purple M&Ms in her dressing room; Miss Rosa forgot the words to the Super Why song because she stayed up too late partying; etc. It was a fun time for all.
Andy had to go to Fredericksburg, VA (where George Washington grew up!) one Saturday so Charlie and I tagged along. The town has a great old downtown with cool shops and plenty of trouble for Charlie to get into. Later we stumbled upon a Civil War reenactment campsite and got to watch them fire the canons. Good times!

Oooh, you got a good picture of Charlie with Miss Rosa. I feel a little bad about not getting one for my kids. Oh, well.
Oh and your Fredricksburg trip looks like it was really fun. If I ever want a tattoo I know where to go!
How fun that you, I mean, Charlie, got to meet Miss Rosa! She's a household staple around here! :) Glad you're back to blogging! :)
My prayers were answered, Facebook was out so you had to blog :). If I were miss Rosa, I'd want only puple M&M's in my dressing room as well.
Welcome back! I'm not a FB fan, so keep blogging! I live for it!
Miss Rosa! What a celebrity.
