ON THE MOVE!!

Charlie officially started walking yesterday. When I arrived to pick him up from parents' day out they said he'd been walking around all day. I thought they meant he'd been holding someone's hand while walking. When I went to his classroom there he was just walking around on his own! He saw me and started cracking up laughing like he knew it was a big deal. He was SO cute and I couldn't have been prouder! We came home and after he did laps around the kitchen and living room we went to visit Andy at work so he could show off. That was one excited daddy! Of course by then it was way past Charlie's bedtime so he wouldn't show off to everyone else (shout out--you know who you are!) but it was still a good visit. So far Charlie's been most excited about carrying his books around and being able to play ball better. Here are a couple of pics of him working on his ball-handling skills.

Elbows out!

P.S. Are you watching Heroes?! After last night I can say...WOW!!

Congrats, Charlie! He must have read my blog and felt the peer pressure.

i was so bummed we didn't get to see him walk around, but i'll see it one of these days, and the ball handling skills are awesome. It's never too early to start that. Little chunk, he's so cute.

It is an exciting moment when they walk......but before long, you will want them to go back to crawling! Britten gets into everything! He looks sooo cute!

In two weeks you will see what I went through with you and April. Oh that's right, you were walking at 9 months and April was crawling until 14 months, so two little 1 year-olds should be even more challenging. I think I better take double doses of my vitamins.
