This is my second post for the day, mainly because Andy's watching The West Wing, that I've already seen, from last night and I couldn't possibly do something more productive.
Just a few thoughts about using current happenings to prepare for the baby.
(1) We got leather interior in my new (new in July) car thinking it's easier to keep clean. The only cloth in the car (besides the carpet) is on the sides of the front seats between the seat and the console, which make it easier for the seat to slide during adjustment. I hadn't thought about it before, but I feel that Charlie will somehow manage to smash something that can't be removed into that only spot of cloth. Why did I think of this today? Because when I was on my way to the carwash I found that somehow someone accidentally smashed a piece of a McDonald's apple pie into that cloth between the seat and the center console. Charlie, tell Daddy "thank you" for preparing me for the challenges of raising a little boy! FYI: If the McDonald's in Post,TX is any indication of other McDonald's restaurants, you can now choose apple or pumpkin (a seasonal treat that I highly recommend) but no cherry pies from the dollar menu.

(2) I saw this Halloween costume in a catalog--I think it is completely hilarious! Because I feel that one of the main reasons to have a child is to make me laugh on a regular basis, I am convinced that if Charlie were here for this Halloween, he would definitely wear this costume. I may have to order one for next year. Let's call it "Humpy Dumpy" because it's just funnier without the "t's".

That is the funniest thing I've ever seen. I may order that for Kaitlyn - even though she's not a boy.
The "humpy dumpy" outfit is exactly that!! How cruel...although it did make me laugh!
I have that outfit... What?
I really think you need to go ahead and order one for Charlie. I know he is going to be a fun kid to be around with two such crazy parents and he will probably love this costume.
