Just a short one for now:

I just read Shanty's blog & comments and I'm laughing so hard sitting here at the community computers in our office. First, anytime Shanty uses Ebonics I nearly pee my pants. Second, how pumped was I to see Britney G. post a comment on Shanta's blog?! (Brit--we missed you this weekend!) I haven't seen her in forever, but when I think about her I laugh because she's definitely one of the funniest people I've ever known. Man, and get her, Sarah, & Rasco (yes, I know she's married now) together and it's nonstop entertainment for me! Britney--I hope you have your own blog up soon 'cause that will make my day!

I'm about to head over to Tech's version of the Campus Center (much larger and more advanced but absolutely no sentimental attachment) to grab a bite to eat and take a little break. It will most likely consist of people watching and perhaps counting how many girls are wearing those short skirts they like so much. OH MY GOSH!! I just remembered something! One day a friend and I were eating in there and guess who sat down at our table? CHRIS FREAKIN' KNOTT (sp?)!!!! Yes ladies, the enemy is in LBB and goes to Tech. How terrified was I? He didn't recognize me and you bet I put an end to his random conversation before it came out that I went to ACU! He hangs out in the food court area at around lunch time and stalks Tech girls. He just stands and watches and follows them to their table and sits down uninvited. Wow!

Yeah, who's Chris Knott?

Just wait for more comments--you'll find out!

He was STILL at ACU when I was there!!! What a freak! (I mean that in a nice way, of course.) Oh man...I wish he would have recognized you!

Just freakin' tell me who he is!

Ok--Chris Nott is this guy who was at ACU for a while. Supposedly he had a motorcycle accident years ago, and the brain injuries that he suffered causes him to lack appropriate social cues & boundaries. I believe he did some serious stalking of the Tates. Believe me--if you ever met him you would remember!

And the Lynches, and Kacy, and anthing with legs.. curiously he had no interest in me...hmm.. um, anyway, he was CONSTANTLY at my apartment my senior year because he wanted Kacy to teach him Spanish. In French... if you catch me. Matt Baker would always tell him it was time to go home. He is close-talker, unambiguous man, rain man, potential stalker, and napoleon dynamite all wrapped in a "Go Dumas Mustangs" t-shirt. He's from Dumas or something. That's how he knows the Lynches. I ran into him at the Tech Rec Center last year and it was creepy.

Chris- Hey you went to ACU and lived in apartment 628 at the southwest corner of UP right? Wasn't your phone number 674-whatever?
Me: (scared) Yes.
Chris: That's cool. Yeah, um didn't you know the Lynches?
Me: (walking away) uh-huh what? Gotta go- see ya later Chris!

Why in the world don't I know who Chris Knott is? Guess I'll have to pull out the Prickly Pear!

Shady. Slim Shady. I'm glad I was a huge dork in college - I don't guess I was his type. Darn.

So you made out with Chris Knott at the Tech campus center? Wow, Amy I can't wait to pass that along....

I guess Knott much has changed. (ha, ha, ha - lame but you know it's funny)

Yes, I fondly remember the days of Chris Knott banging down our door with his inappropriately loud knock announcing his arrival. Unfortunately, helping the kid learn Spanish was about as unlikely as getting good customer service at Wal-Mart. Mainly because he had a random, pointless story to tell about every 5 seconds (typically ones we had already heard several times).

He's actually from McKinney. Don't you remember him offering a crisp Andrew Jackson to anyone that would give him a ride to the Dallas area for the weekend? (That'd be a $20 bill for anyone slow on the uptake.) He has the same birthday as the Lynches and always wanted to have some kind of party together. Actually, he recently called their parents in Dumas and asked their dad, "So what are Ann & Amy up to these days?"

Leslie, you should ask Julie Lycan about Chris. We were all in Spanish class together and she loved the way he would stretch and scratch in class!

Have a good day all!
