My throat hurts, I'm achey all over, and hoping to avoid the reoccurrance of my fever from earlier in the week. I'm sure I have my little petri dish, Charlie, to thank for this. Not much to complain about, but enough to warrant a short blog. So, I apologize for the lack of content. I'll just post the obligatory Charlie pics for the family.

Last Friday we went to Meadow, TX so Andy could be the team doc for their varsity six-man football team for the night. It was great! The town is SO small (pop. 650). The Meadow Broncos won against the Whitharal Panthers 48-0 and the game ended at the half. Meadow went to the state semi-finals last year and ended the season with a 13-1 record. Go Broncos!

A shot of the team. Yes, this is the entire team.

Above: The team mascot.
Below: Charlie keeping a constant eye on the team mascot, aka "horsey".

Andy was really pumped to teach Charlie the joys of Texas high school football.
Charlie eating yogurt while sporting the silly haircut that someone gave him.
Aunt Melody's going to make it look better.

I love 6-man football! I know the Superintendent well (last year's football coach). Looks like fun! Ya'll should come to a Southland game with us!

I know Andy had a grand time! It's a good thing Dad and Big Charlie (Doc) weren't there -- however, looks like the coaches did fine without them!

Charlie is so adorable, he'd even be precious bald. WHO GAVE HIM THE HAIRCUT? I know Andy had a great time, like his wonderful MAMA said. I've never seen 6-man football, sounds interesting. Hope you are feeling better. If not, we could come up and help with Charlie. Sure miss the Little Guy.
