Wednesday we had our first non-medical family outing. Where did we go? In the words of our good friend Brook, we went "where all good things come from"--Sam's. We went to get Charlie's announcements made and he slept through the whole thing. I was so proud wheeling Charlie around in his stroller and showing him off. It was great!
Yesterday I went to a women's lunch with our good friend Amanda. Charlie stayed home with his daddy and it seems they had a great time. When I got home, this is what I found:
Yep, that's Andy with Charlie in a sling across his chest. That's also laundry being done in the background. I couldn't resist taking these pictures, knowing full well that I would post them! I should go out to lunch more often! Andy's been truly amazing. He does everything. Charlie and I are very blessed.
Andy's mom, dad, younger sister and her daughter get into town tonight to visit and help out. We're really excited but that means I need to get going on cleaning things up.

P.S. While browsing at Sam's I noticed that if you feel so inclined, you can purchase both the Best of Oprah and the first season of Doogie Howser, M.D. Gotta love Sam's!!

Awww..that's so cute that he's all curled up in that sling. And Andy sounds like he's being a real good Dad/hubby...cleaning and bonding with Charlie. That's so sweet!
I have no doubt that Andy is an amazing and inspiring Dad. How cute is the papoose thing? Amy we love you too and can't wait for another visit.
so Amy. Did you get Doogie and Oprah? Would love to see some of the Doogie shows. There was no doubt Andy would be an amazing dad, afterall he's an amazing husband, son, son-in-law, brother and uncle.

You guys are making Jason and me so anxious for Jake to come out and play. Today we were working on his room and Jason commented that he wants Jake to come in about three weeks! I keep telling him I have 10 to go, and he will just have to be patient, but you guys make it so hard!!!!
