Man, having a baby really cuts down on the blogging! As of Friday I own my own dairy farm which takes a lot of maintenance so I apologize for the lack of posts. Andy's sister Kristy is here with us for a few days and I'm trying to convince her to move in but I don't think she's gonna go for it. Today I took a three hour nap thanks to Kristy. It was awesome, considering I was up all night with Charlie who has his days and nights mixed up. After all that last night, he now has a few favorite songs including James Taylor's "Fire and Rain" and several praise and worship songs. He's discovered the joy of the swing today though so I expect things to go much better tonight. Yesterday the Murray's came to meet Charlie and thanks to his unfortunate battle with gas they now have permanent loss of smell. It was pretty bad. I'm happy to report though that he worked things out later that day. The Nelsons also came to visit and Charlie and Carley had their first date. Charlie slept through the whole thing though so I'm not sure about their future together. I think she was a little offended by that and the gas. I'll have to work with him on that. I'm also working on establishing his passion for social justice. He got his first lecture as we watched the Coretta Scott King funeral on CNN. I think my message was well received. Ok, I've got to tend to my little buddy now. I'll try to post some pics tomorrow!

It's good to finally read a post! I hope the nights get easier! I'm sure you are just enjoying your little buddy. And Carley and Charlie must've been too cute together!
I was disappointed that Carley was so illing to jump in bed with Charlie. We'll have to watch these two! days and nights are hard. Hang in there!!
Yay for the swing! What did mamas do before they had swings? I have no shame - we slept with that sucker right by our bed with both of the boys! (Andy would probably have a fit if he knew that)
Hang in there. It get's easier. I always say give it six weeks and you'll be a new woman. Give it three months and you're home free. :)
I still can't believe you're a mommy! I'm so ready to meet Charlie. Hang in there, I hope your nipples aren't hurting too bad!
Amy, I know you're going to be an awesome mamma! Thanks for posting the pictures. Charlie is adorable! Keep the blogs coming when you get the time!
