Andy and I stumbled across a great way to save a ton of money on groceries. It's called Angel Food Ministries and here's the link:

Angel food ministries started in Georgia in 1994 as a way to help families get affordable groceries, and since then it has spread across the nation. Basically, you place an order for a box of food (or several!) for $25. There is a specific menu plus a few specials for extra cost every month. You place an order through a local organization or church involved and then you show up on the delivery date and pick up your food. We decided to try it this month and I'm amazed at how much money (and time) we saved! It was so simple. We got all kinds of good stuff, incliding Sugar Free Pillsbury Chocolate Cookie Dough (which we've already consumed)! There is no qualification process and you can buy the food for yourself, for someone else, or both. You can locate a site near you at the above website. If you live in Lubbock, you can locate the local site at http://www.southplainschurchofchrist.org/Angel-Food/angel-food.html.
For some reason the Lubbock site is not listed on the main Angel Food Ministry's website. Please pass this info on to others who might be interested!

Seriously, there are no catches. The food is good and it's stuff you would buy anyway (plus some extra treats that we would rarely splurge on). This really is a great program! You should definitely take a look! Here's the menu for February--all for just $25!!:
