Just a Few Things
1. Last night Andy was on call so I took him his favorite meal of Quizno's and his change of clothes, toiletries, etc. I sat with him while he ate and helped him take his stuff to the call room and would have gone to look at the babies but he got called to the ER so that was that. He's so cute in doctor mode, carrying his little baby-sized stethoscope to listen to those little tiny hearts. I truly believe he was made to do this. He's thinking of doing a fellowship in pediatric oncolgy/hemotology or pediatric cardiology. Everytime we talk about those little cancer patients his eyes get all watery--whatever he does I know his patients will be truly blessed with an intelligent and godly doctor. I'm so proud of him!

2. Usually when Andy's on call on the weekends it's my time to catch up on my girl movies so I headed over to Blockbuster and picked up "A Lot Like Love" with Ashton Kutcher and Amanda Peet. It was a great flick and I'm sure Andy will appreciate that I got that one watched without him! I'm such a loner. I love doing things by myself--watching movies, shopping, eating--I hope that's ok!

3. I'm wearing socks. Why is this noteworthy? Because it's truly possible that I haven't worn socks since the last cold spring day. I am excited that I had to pull out the boots, jeans, long sleeves & sweaters. I love cold weather! I also got to use my seat heaters in the new car for the first time yesterday--so warm and toasty! I shouldn't use the seat heaters on long drives because it felt so good I wanted to fall asleep!

4. Today is our friend Meghan's skating party. She just turned 8. The party last year was a blast so I expect nothing less this time around. Andy was a hit with the kids last year but he's not home yet from the hospital so I hope he makes it off in time. Last year he accidently knocked me down a few times when we were skating so Charlie & I will sit this one out and man the nachos & punch. Mmmm...nachos, punch, cake--I think it's gonna be good times!

5. We're supposed to close on the new house on Tues. but there's a big snag with the appraisal vs. sales price. Please pray that it all works out!!
