Football, Rain, & Chili
Saturday we watched some great college football--GO TECH (next time try winning without giving me a heartattack--exciting game though)! Shout out and a "sorry" to the Vols fans (Kelly & Shanty)--that was painful, but my UGA fans (April & Jason) enjoyed it--way ta hunker down Dawgs!
Later that night we ventured to Toys 'R Us, which surprised me since I've suggested it several times and this was the first time Andy agreed. Good & confusing times. Really--so much junk! Good thing my mom-in-law gave me a great book called "Baby Bargains" which not only points out good prices but also rates different gear. The authors blatantly called the employees of Babies 'R Us "stupid & unqualified" which I thought was a little harsh! When heading home we passed Chili's and Andy said, "You've been wanting a molten chocolate cake, so we could go to Chili's for dessert." What a nice guy! You better believe that I did a quick u-turn in the middle of Slide (LBB's busiest street on a Saturday night--it's bigtime for LBB) and headed straight for the cake!
Sunday...I hate missing church but if there was ever a day to do it it was this Sunday. Andy's been really busy and has gotten run down, so I made the executive decision to lock ourselves inside for the entire day. It was so great--sometimes you just need that! We slept in really late, got up and had eggs & blueberry muffins, snuggled on the couch forever, had Frito Pie for dinner and watched our Sunday shows. It was such a great day!
Baby Bowman Update 2005
This morning I cancelled class. Why? Because pregnancy does weird and painful things to the body. I remember looking at a book that my sister has and it has a picture of how the internal organs are shoved all over the place to make room for the baby. I don't know where my intestines are right now but they're definitely not happy about relocating! Maybe I should have had a housewarming party with green leafy snacks and lots of fiber to ease their transition to their new home. At least Charlie's happy with his pad. He does his football drills when I lay down to go to sleep. Last night Andy was laying there falling asleep with his hand on my belly so he could feel Charlie movin around. I thought Andy was asleep when he started moving his fingers around trying to play with Charlie. It was funny! Ahhh...good times. Today I will venture out to try to locate a crib bedding set. The bumper I got off of ebay will work with a cradle but not our crib. I've found a set that uses the same fabric but want $400--thanks, but I think I'll pay for the baby to be delivered instead!

what kind of bed set do you want... i have a few to pick from if you are not too picky... free... ??? :)
Sounds like Charlie is already making his presence known. Now think about two moving around in there and you need to apologize to your mom for putting her through so many restless nights. You and April were rocking and rolling and of course doing a little disco also.
Girl, I know you and charlie really enjoyed the molten chocolate cake--it's gooood stuff! =)
Amy and Andy-
Glad to hear that everything is going good with you guys. Congrats on the kid, they are the BEST!
Take care,
Sam Jeffrey
