I hope everyone had a very merry Christmas!

We definitely had a great time here. Since Andy had to work on Christmas Day we had our Christmas on Christmas Eve.
I'd say that the picture below was evidence of Charlie's excitement over Santa coming, but the truth is that this is how he ends up every night now. In fact, he DID NOT want to be awake or anywhere near Santa when he delivered presents.

Andy and I woke up ready to see what Santa brought but Charlie was still completely asleep. We finally woke him up at 8:30 am and he was still half asleep for a while. His big present from Santa was a cool marble track. It took Andy and I two hours to put it together and Charlie was hardly stopped playing with it since. It's awesome! I love all his toys!

Charlie LOVES his new train set from Grandma & Paw Paw. I've had a lot of fun playing with that, too.

Charlie getting eaten by the tree...

I gave Andy and Charlie a 64 box of Crayons to share. Andy's obsessed with the 64 box and Charlie is now as well. His favorite color? Pink. You should have how quickly he hoarded the various shades of pink. Crazy kid.

After a great day of playing, cuddling and relaxing we went to the Christmas Eve candlelight service (which made us miss Andy's home church's candlelight service). Then we headed to Chili's for dinner. Chili's? Well...chips, salsa & fajitas just seemed to really hit the spot on our first Christmas Eve away from home. I actually took the below picture to highlight our dinner mates. See the guy over Andy's right shoulder? He was this young clergy guy kickin' back a few beers with his friends on Christmas Eve. Awesome. That just really made me laugh. It definitely added to our Chili's experience. I mean, it wasn't some place real nice like The Golden Corral but we liked it anyway.

We leave at 4 am to catch a flight to TX so I'll be out for the next week. I hope everyone is enjoying the holidays!

I totally love that Andy loves crayons. Seth went to play raquetball today and was so excited to call Andy until we remembered that you were gone. He was bummed.

I hope you guys are having a GREAT time in TX with all the family. The pics of Charlie asleep at the top of the stairs makes me laugh every time.....he is such a great kid. I'm sad that we probably won't get to see you before we move, but you will just have to head to TN to visit us SOON. Hugs, KJS
