I came across these pictures...

I know I've mentioned on here that instead of a pool we swam in a small round metal cow trough. Proof:

Honestly, I don't even know which one is me. I am, however, amazed that we're just wearing matching toddler-sized tank tops and diapers. Wow. I don't know if it even gets any more stereotypical than this in the land of mullets and cars-on-jacks-in-the-driveway.

Curses on all of you girls out there who got the real Get-In-Shape Girl gear for Christmas! I'm the one in the red with brown tights. I'm going to hit the gym again and I think I may invest in an adult-size version of this.

Ummm...why do we all look like someone slipped something in our pancakes that morning? I'm the one on the left in front of my brother. So many mullets, so little time.

I don't know which one I am in this picture. We all have really sweet bangs though.

Like the sweet orange carpet and furniture and the faux-wood paneling? WHAT? It was 1982 for goodness sakes! I think I'm the one standing up. Check out April's smurf shirt. Awesome.

I'm the one in yellow. I only know that because I was always in yellow and April in pink. Check out the pearl snaps on those shirts!

So there you have it. I don't know what else to say. I challenge all of you other bloggers to make a similar post. The more embarrassing the better!

P.S. I didn't get permission from any of my siblings to post these pictures so just forget that you saw them. I'm sure they'll be ok with that.

Too funny!!! I'll see what I can do. I don't think I'd do that well at scanning! I can now say that Charlie looks like you though, wow!

Ok, mimi. Here is a list of which one is you in each picture.
1. left, sitting down.
2. left, no tights.
3. Got this one right
4. left, holding your arm
5. middle with smurf shirt
6. Got this one right.

You are really horrible at this game.
PS...I knew I should have deleted those old pictures from your computer.

You are hilarious. I just knew you were the one in the first picture starting your career as a topless dancer! :) Just Kidding I love all those pictures and only wish we would have known each other then

Yes, Melody is probably right. Never could fool her from the beginning. She always knew. Remember all of us trying to fool her when you and April got up from the dinner table, switched outfits and came back to eat. It didn't take Melody long, before she had it figured out. She was always the one to know the difference. I never could understand how she made good grades without studying until one day she told me she had a photographic memory. I must say your dad and I sure have some adorable children.

Hilarious, though I do take personal offense to you cursing me for having the "official" Get in Shape Girl gear. Believe me, those leotards are much more awesome than anything I had.

Love the pictures! I'll have to dig up some of my old photos. We had orange and green shag carpet in our den growing up. I remember it always played tricks on my eyes. I'm surprised we aren't all blind now.

Okay, those are amazing. The bangs and mullets are my favorite.

So many comments, so little time. I think the picture with the orange shag and wood paneling was actually taken at my parents house, circa TODAY. You're on your own with the get in shape gear. Wonderful post!
