I just figured it out. I thought something about that picture (see previous post) of Andy & Charlie at the game looked weird. Is it me or does Charlie look like he's packing dip? Ugh!! I didn't think I'd have to deal with that until Charlie got to high school. It must be the influence of those other babies at his Parent's Day Out. Kids have to deal with those tough things so much earlier these days!
I've been looking at baby gear lately and thus have spent a lot of time around toys. Just a few observations:
1. Anything associated with the Bratz brand is absolutely wrong. Those dolls look like baby exotic dancers. I make no apologies for saying that. They're just bad.
2. A lot of toddler girls' clothes look like they belong on the Bratz dolls. They're wrong too.
3. I'm watching Laguna Beach right now. I don't know why. It's a horrible show. You know what's worse than watching it? Letting your kid be on it.
Uh oh, low battery on my laptop--gotta go so I don't have to get up and plug it in!!

Me and Justin already decided...NO Bratz dolls in the Steffens house!! They are horrible!
That's right, I tell Carley that Bratz outfits are for Mommy and not for Carley. Just Kidding
Bratz dolls scare me. Especially kindergartners that have their backpacks, clothes, etc. When I see girls and their outfits I pray to God that Elise won't make that choice or that I will buy anything of the sort.
We call Bratz prostitue action figures in our house.
The clothes they make for little girls are horrible! Not even a 30 year old should be wearing them. I could go on and on about kids movies, dolls, and clothes for hours!
Oh, my gosh. Totally cracking up on your last post. As a mom of a 13 and 10, both girls, I can totally relate. We do Groovy Girls instead. As for the clothes...ever heard of Hannas? I love Hanna Andersons. Of course, my pocket book doesn't like it one bit, but they have clothes that are girl appropriate and still are fun. It's hard in this secular world. Modesty just insn't present unless you instill it yourselves as parents.

AMEN to all of the above comments. I am amazed at what the little girls in Kindergarten are wearing these days. A couple of the little girls today had on such short skirts it was indecent. The five year olds of yesteryear are no more. We have had to take some of the little girls to the nurse to try to find clothes to cover them up. And don't even get me talking about the moms and what they "DON'T WEAR" when they come onto our campus. Makes a grown woman blush. Hanging out of both ends!
